Even though I'm swimming in a sea of photos to edit (notice I said swimming...not drowning...yet), I'm trying to make time to finish up the, what feels like, bazillion projects going on in the garage.  My husband is much for me making time to finish them.  And I mean very much for it.  He thinks cars are supposed to park in garages...psshtt...I feel garages make for great crafting areas. ;)

Awhile ago, miss Jamie Hill (designer extraordinaire) shared a photo for me because I expressed the desire to create an empty frame wall.  She found this photo for me and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful inspiration photo.  It.Is.Perfect.  I love how they used different shades of frames... yep, I just love it a lot.  I'm hoping I can come kinda close to recreating it in my home.

This is my attempt.  I still have some work to do.  I'm looking for a good gold; haven't found it yet.  I found a yummy shade of yellow, called butter.  I think it will be a good choice against the blue walls, then I stained a couple of them dark and painted a couple cream.  We'll see... I'm not sure if I'll use them all.  I'll keep you posted.

my camera likes him... a lot

And Caleb likes to eat leaves... a lot.  

We had big plans, while Tricia and Caleb were here, to get some photos of the two of them together.  For some reason it didn't work out.  And now I'm wondering why we didn't do it when I took these of just Caleb?  Weird.  Next time.  Anyway...  Caleb came back and visited me.  He missed me and I missed him.  He was looking cute in his fall sweater so we stuck him outside amongst the fall leaves.  Wow, he liked those leaves.  He wasn't feeling the smiles, he was just feeling the leaves....

He loves me.  Don't let this face fool you.  I may or may not have taken a leaf away from him... but he loves me more than those leaves.  He does.  Really.  Don't you, Caleb?  Can't wait to see you at Christmas my little friend.  xo

a first

While aunt Tricia was here, Jonah lost his first tooth.  Tricia was the one to pull it out.  She's a master tooth puller outer.  The tooth was ready and came out super easy.  Jonah didn't even flinch and wasn't even aware she had gotten it out.  But then he saw the tooth... and saw a little blood... and then he said his head was starting to hurt... and then it was his tummy... and then he turned pale.  Reeeeeeally pale.  I told him to go lay down.  The boy was looking like he was going to faint.  It was funny and the picture above shows it all.  I laugh every time I look at it. 

Tiny little tooth.  Almost as small as his little freckle on his thumb.

After laying down for a bit he came back for a picture.  He was a little more excited.  Had a little more color in his cheeks.  He started to get excited about the fact the tooth fairy was coming.  That crazy fairy didn't come 'till 6:30am.  Lazy fairy.

I know.  Iiiiiiiiiii know!  The cuteness is almost too much.  My boy, Caleb came back to play with me.  I couldn't be happier.

The sun was getting ready to set.  It was gorgeous light.  I grabbed the camera, told the family to jump in the car and we were off.  On this night, I took photos of my children.  These three I call my own.

I love these three with every ounce that is in me.

21 days...

...since my last post.  Wow, I'm like the lamest blogger ever.  I'm not really sure where those 21 days went, but I do know they went fast.  I have a lot to share.  Maybe even some sharing from back in the summer days.  I mean, I haven't even blogged about Lake Chelan with my besties!?!  Yep, laaaaame blogger, that's me.  Stay with me friends.  I got things to tell you and pictures to share.

For now, I'll leave you with a few photos from a couple of senior portrait sessions I did.  Did you know seniors follow directions a little better than 2 year olds?  Weird, I know.  I kind of like that concept.  I could get used to it.  Where my seniors at?!  I'll be advertising for 2012 seniors, you better believe it.

Anywaaaaay...  I like these two girls, and no, it's not because one is dating my nephew or that one is my adorable niece.  It's because they are beautiful girls both inside and out... and maybe because they asked me to take their photos. ;)  Thank you, Maggie and Alexia, it was such a pleasure.  I pray the Lord blesses you both in your new adventures coming all too soon.  xx
