Today...

...was a better day.

Jonah is back to his healthy self and the rest of us haven't gotten whatever he had...yet. Who knows where that crazy bug came from. I'm pretty sure it wasn't from Mexico.

p.s. this picture makes him look so old. I feel like I need to send him to his room because he isn't listening to me. I tell him to stay little.

Here he is sleeping on the couch while I'm scurrying around vacuuming, cleaning toilets...I think I may have mentioned my OCDish qualities that come out when the kids are sick(??) maybe not...

In the bathroom this morning during the wee hours, I was rubbing his back and reassuring him while foreign stuff was coming out of his mouth, he then turns to me and says...
"Mom, thanks for helping me."

Yep, he's still cute and sweet.

Easter Blessings

~We've been ransomed! Galations 4:4-5 "God sent his son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons."

~ New dresses! Stella and Ava wearing their matching, white dresses. When I showed Stella her finished, white dress she said "can I decorate it??" The girl loves color, but her mom loves white :)

~ 152 Easter eggs filled with candy, split 3 ways...OK, split 5 ways ;)

~ Good food! Ham, potatoes, Pioneer Woman's macaroni and cheese, salad, cake...

~ A "furry" bunny cake! It wasn't the easiest thing to frost, so I'm calling it furry.

~Fun, relaxing day spent with family!

Ava loving on her friend Georgia. Ava is now in the "big kid" nursery so she wasn't able to play with Georgia during church. The second Ava saw her she ran over and gave her hugs. It was so sweet.

Ava loves her. Who wouldn't?? Georgia is beyond sweet!

Here comes the SUN!!!!

I don't know if I dare say it but, I think it's safe to say SPRING IS HERE! Yesterday was beautiful and today is proving itself to be just as great. We all spent the majority of the day outside and it was wonderful. I had forgotten how good the sun feels. While the kids played, I worked in my flower beds, planted some sunflowers, and during naps I even read a book outside. When I came in the house both Stella and Jonah smelled my skin and said, "mmmmm....you smell like sun." It even smells good :).

Don't be jealous of Jonah's sweet double-cowlick and the way it blows in the wind when he runs. I'm warning you, don't do it.

For dinner we decided to head to South Beach for some roasted hot dogs and then for some fun on the beach. The kids could have spent hours there, but Sean and I had to get home so we could get our "couch time" in (for our parenting class). We don't want to miss out on our points because, well, we're going to win :)!!!

Don't be jealous of Sean's sweet rock skipping form or his sweet white legs. Really, you shouldn't. ;)
